General scooter information Our scooters are man powered, not motorized. No license is required. Scooters are imported from the Netherlands where "steppen" is considered a real sport. These scooters are designed for adults, but children above 10 years of age can join in the fun. The route is carefully chosen and we will use cycle paths for most of the tour. Scooters are becoming an increasingly popular means of sightseeing and transportation. However, many people have never used a scooter before so we would like to assure you, they are a safe and fun way to travel. Helmets are not worn, although we can provide them on request. We will visit all the famous landmarks, apart from Parc Guell which is too steep to visit on scooters. Parc Guell is a major sight of interest so we can arrange to take you there after the tour, or give you directions.
